Dr. Knut Riesmeier

Dr. Knut Riesmeier is Managing Director of Dr. Riesmeier Real Estate Capital GmbH in Munich and German Alternative Assets Capital GmbH in Hamburg.

Previously, he was the founding Managing Director of MEAG, the asset manager of Munich Re Group, where he was responsible for global real estate investments worth around 15 billion euros. Other positions include partner at Pacific Star Group in Singapore and management roles at Exporo Investment and MEAG Kapitalanlagegesellschaft.

As an experienced investment expert, Dr. Riesmeier has also advised on major projects for the World Bank in South America and the Asian Development Bank in Asia. He holds a doctorate in engineering and economics and has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Terra Kapitalverwaltung AG in Cologne since 2016.
